About Us

I'm Dr. Courtney Weeks Odell, PT, DPT, WCS, PRPC

Doctor of Physical Therapy
Board Certified Women's Health Clinical Specialist
Pelvic Rehabilitation Certified Practitioner

With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Board Certification in Women Health, and Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification, I have a passion for the field of pelvic health. I look at the whole person and not just the diagnosis, and have a drive to help spread awareness.

Beginning Pelvic Health in 2018 by taking my first pelvic health course with Harman and Wallace where my interest in this field ignited. Obtaining my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, I began my career treating orthopedic, neurologic, pelvic conditions, as well as orthopedic inpatient. I then decided to specialize solely in pelvic health and obtain two advanced certifications and multiple clinical education courses.

I started Raise The Pelvic Floor, LLC in 2020 when I found a lack in educational resources for pelvic health anatomy. When attempting to educate patients, I could only find very graphic and limited images of the vagina and pelvic floor musculature. During some treatments, patients were unwilling to look at the images as the images were too triggering or patients felt shameful. This is what sparked me to establish Raise The Pelvic Floor Art- to create light, aesthetically pleasing, modern, and accurate anatomy images of the pelvic floor. My goal is to elevate patient experience, promote inclusivity with gender neutral art, illustrate all skin tones, as well as enhance practitioner tools and treatment spaces with the art.

My focus is to also elevate the field as a whole. I absolutely love "nerding out" with patients and getting down to the "why" as well as working with other therapist to continue to elevate each other to better help this population. I enjoy mentoring other clinicians to help improve efficiency and develop clinical patterns, as well as provide Telehealth services to help those patients with time or travel constraints.

The field of Pelvic Health is my passion.

In my spare time, I love spending time outdoors with my husband (who is also a physical therapist *cue eye roll*), spending quality time with my son Beau and my 2 pups, along with being with my family, and friends.

Being a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist is not a career, but a calling. And I am truly grateful to be a part of this field!
